So like, there was a whole lot of 'wip amnesty' posts going around a while back, and i didn't take advantage of it, but seeing as how this is my journal, i think i'm allowed to do that whenever I please, so... If you don't know what this means, it means herein are the stories that I've started in the past and have been on my harddrive untouched for so long that there are cobwebs, and I will never be finishing them. ( supernatural: the one where I was obsessed with the idea of dean winchester and faith (as in buffy the vampires slayer's faith) for like, a day )( supernatural: the one where dean is in a bar and has a one-sided conversation with what's probably a mary-sue but it's okay, because she never says a word, because i read this really stellar potc fic one time that did this and i decided to copy it cause i'm unoriginal like that )( the oc: the one where ryan is all mopey and seth is all 'talk to me' and it gets all mushy, and somehow cucumbers are involved... also, this isn't actually a wip, it's finished, it's just that i thought it was crap so i never planned to officially post it )( thoughtcrimes: the one where i was obsessed with thoughtcrimes and thought it would be really funny if brenden was as oblivious to girls as shep is and freya kept reading his mind when he was thinking things like 'oh, she has nice boobs' and 'i'd really like to kiss her' and stuff )

The problem here is that ER comes on twice a day. Two come on back to back in the morning on the TNT, and then ones comes on in the afternoon on The WB. And they're on different timelines, the afternoon much earlier in the timeline than the morning ones. And I'm not entirely sure exactly where it is in the timeline, and I don't catch it as consistently as I do the morning shift. So I'm not exactly sure who's with who, but I do know that this takes place during an earlier season. One where I don't think Doug is with Carol, and I think Mark isn't with anyone either. I'm not sure though. So for the purpose of this fic, we're gonna assume that Doug is not with Carol, and that Mark isn't with anyone either. Fandom: ER Title: You Never Expect It Rated: R, language Pairing: Mark/Doug Notes: This takes place after the episode where Doug's father shows up only to stand him up for the basketball game. I think it's season 1 or 2. Sorry for any continuity problems. ( Doug giggles, and it makes Mark smile because Doug is maybe the only thirty-five year old he knows that still giggles as much as he probably did when he was five. )- Tags:misc_fic

Wrote it before my last class, and touched it up between that one and this one. School feeds my muses, and that's both annoying and really cool. Now I have to run to get to class though, so... *shoots off really, really fast* Fandom: Sorority Boys Title: Maybe It's Just Seperation Anxiety Rated: R, language Pairing: Dave/Adam Notes: Most of the fic in this fandom... even though there are very few fics IN this fandom, lol... are genderfuck fics. I decided to write one that's not. Or, that's as much not as it can be when the whole concept is that they dressed up in drag in the movie. LOL. ( “Maybe I’m having separation anxiety,” Adam said, his voice much more bitter than he’d realized it would be. “Adina was a force.” )
|
Fandom: Arrested Development Title: White, Like James Earl Jones Characters: Michael, Tobias, and briefly, Gob Rated: PG-13 Notes: for my challenge post, michellek wanted an Arrested Development fic with Tobias, with the line "that's a funny story". I'm not sure this is very good, babe. But we'll chalk that up to this being my first ever foray into AD fic. Hopefully you'll like it? ( I don't even know what that means. )
|
Fandom: Oceans 11 (12) Title: Dichotomy Rated: PG 13 Pairing: Rusty/Danny Notes: It's really short, just a snippet of a fic really. Set during Oceans 12, after The Wine Scene (if you've seen it, you probably know what that means). The title is stupid, but the reason I wrote this fic is because I love the dichotomy between Brad and George (or Rusty and Danny) in the movies, so... there you have it. ( “Let me just tell you how smart that was.” )
|
Fandom: Coupling, UK Version Title: What Matters Most Pairing: Jeff/Steve Rated: PG-13 Warning: I'm aware Coupling is a comedy, but I don't do sitcom very well. So, I took a moment that fit well into angst, and expanded that. Sorry, I'm just not good at sitcom. Hence why I don't write Friends fic or all that much 70's Show. It is a moment that calls for angst in the context of the show though, so hopefull it'll fit. ( Notes: )( The man was a livewire of nerves, but he had a calming effect on Steve like no other. )

For winning part 1 of the icon contest. If I had my paid pictures right now, i'd use my Ryan Gossling pic, but I don't so... oh well. LOL. Fandom: Murder by Numbers Title: Not Quite Rated: R Pairing: Justin/Richie Synopsis: Richie tells his side of it, because things aren't always what they seem. ( And sure. Yeah. Absolutely. But not quite. )

I told you I had a surprise fic coming for you for Halloween... and it's no longer Halloween, but hey... I'm only 4 hours late. LOL! Sorry 'bout that. Busy weekend. Dedicated to the lovely yunafire, whose fault this is.Fandom: Sleepy Hollow Title: Fabricated Memories of Nonexistant Touches Rated: Hard R, bordering on NC-17 Pairing: Ichabod/Hessian, w/a side of Ichabod/Masbeth Warning: Quite possibly highly disturbing... LOL! I'm evil. Genre: humor, horror, angst, drama, it pretty much runs the gambit ( HAPPY -belated- HALLOWEEN! )
|
I wish I had a Skeet icon, but since I don't, I'll just use a Johnny D one. Because hey, let's face it... they look enough alike to be brothers. LOL. Fandom: Scream, the original Title: Each Other Pairing: Stu/Billy Rating: R, slash baby! Notes: This is for myself and spookyville, because we have a thing for bad boys and slash, and hey… there’s just not any Scream Slash out there that’s any good that I’ve seen. ( I'm aware my timeline might be off, but hey... it's just a pwp, what do you want? )
|
Fandom: Collateral Title: Foregone Conclusion Rated: PG Character: Vincent Notes: This is all guede_mazaka's fault, because she writes wonderfully for rarely fic'd fandoms, including the recently released Collateral, and always manages to inspire me to write. I don't even know how many of you have even seen Collateral, but that's the beauty of it. I wrote it to have written it. Now if only I could tap into Guede's muse and write some Vincent/Sands fic. LOL.
Those of you who are Sands fans might like this, because there are parallels in their personality that might ring true enough for this to be about either character.
( But doesn’t that beg the question of who, exactly, that is alive and breathing and thinking and acting in this world, is innocent anymore? )

I posted a snippet of this the other day, the first two paragraphs. This is the whole of it, which I've just finished.
Fandom: What's Eating Gilbert Grape? Title: What You've Become Rated: R, for language Timeline: Takes place before the movie picks up. Notes: I haven't read the book, just seen the movie. About a million times. And it still hurts to watch.
( The thing about it is, there’s only so much you can cry. ) - Tags:misc_fic

I really don't know why I wrote this, but it's a deviation for me. Dead Man apparently brings out a more metaphorical style from me. Which is very cool in my book. I've written one other Dead Man fic, which can be found here.
Fandom: Dead Man (though pretty much not in existance) Title: Graze After Thee and Weep Rated: R, for sexual content and language Characters: William/Nobody (though... almost not) Notes: Takes place during the night before Nobody leaves William on his own. Challenge: inspired by contrelamontre's laundry list challenge, but I didn't think I'd be able to post it to there because it was after the deadline. Since the new challenge hasn't been issued, I'll post it though.
( And now beside thee, bleating lamb, I can lie down and sleep. Or think on Him who bore thy name, Graze after thee, and weep. )

I don't know what the sam hell this is, but I know it's coffeebits's fault, because after I saw Kill Bill she contemplated that it might be interesting to see a match between Elle Driver and Agent Sands of Once Upon a Time in Mexico.
And then this happened... it's very short, but it makes me want to write more.
Title: Quite the Pair Rated: PG-13 Pair: Elle Driver/Agent Sands Notes: For whatever reason, I have it in my head that they were neighbors as kids, and that's how they know each other. Why, I don't know. It's just what came out. Warning: If you haven't seen Kill Bill Vol 2 or Once Upon a Time in Mexico, this will likely make exactly no sense. Challenge: This was inspired by contrelamontre's laundry list challenge this week, but since it's not slash, it's not elligable. Imagine that, me not writing slash?!
( Leaving with *two* and coming back with none, now *that* stings... )

So, I love Jason Lee, right? Well, here's the thing, I'll write anything with Jason Lee in it. He's got a really strong voice in my head, and I just love to let him speak through me. So when his character in Vanilla Sky started harrassing me, I let him make me start a story. But then he abandoned me, and left it all short and shit. So, here's what I got. Call it a drabble, call it a vignette, call it a start, I don't know. Rated: R for language Characters: Brian (Lee), and David (Cruise) ( you will never know the exquisite pain of the guy who goes home alone... )
|
I just realized that I've never posted my one and only Six Feet Under fic on here, and after having read michellek's wonderful Lisa-centric fic, I feel the need to post mine as well. Title: In Search of the Real Me Rated: R, language Character: Brenda POV Notes: Set at the end of season 2, directly after (or perhaps as) Brenda is packing her car to leave. ( Where was she going? Nowhere, but not here. )

Okay, the following was inspired by Dead Man. It takes place, I suppose, in William's head as he is swept away by the ocean. It's sort of a lament, I guess. I don't know. If you haven't seen the movie, you might still like it, though the nuances will be lost on you. LOL. Sorry if you don't get it, not that many people have seen Dead Man. GO RENT IT NOW! Then read this. Title: A Journey of Descent Character: William Blake Rated: PG Word Count: 682 Notes: I wrote this while listening to Phillip Glass, who is a wonderful composer... don't usually find myself writing to classical, but I think it fed my inspiration well. You may know his music from soundtracks, such as The Truman Show and Secret Window. The words in italics is an excerpt from "Auguries of Innocence" by William Blake, and was quoted in the movie. Okay, so here's the thing. When Starsky & Hutch the movie came out, Ben said that it wasn't a parody. He said that Todd Phillips described it as if the movie were the failed pilot to what became the show. As in, Stiller & Wilson had done the pilot, it had tested badly, and they'd recast it with the dynamic duo of Glaser & Soul. This popped into my head just now while th inking about that... and it's nuts. Positively nuts. Mainly just a parody type thing, done purely for giggles... or anyway, it makes me giggle. ( a conversation between starsky's... )
